An amazing 360° Rooftop view of Masjid An-Nabawi, Madinah Munawwarah.

An attempt for a flawless 360° sphere of the best place in the world; the spiritual Nucleus; Sarkar Ka Madina; Masjid An-Nabawi Rooftop.


This sphere was taken on 2nd July 2014; 4th Ramadhan 1435.

This was the original Panorama that came out of autostitcher. Even though it is an awesome software and it automatically stitches the overlapping photos as best as it can, a manual touchup must be given in order to get spectacular professional-like results. Especially in my case as my spheres are all captures by my beloved Samsung Galaxy I-9500 S4.
Yep you heard me right! This was taken from a phone camera.

And this is the final result pic after 5 hours of editing on Photoshop CS6 and CC. The tiles werent matching and the sky was incomplete and also there were other glitches as well as ghost effects as this sphere was made of 26 overlapping photos taken with a cheap fisheye lens. But what gear u have isn't as important as ur creativity. Don't wanna brag but I know people who cannot pull this off even with a DSLR with a a PRO fisheye lens!
